After a year of preparations, the Tzu Chi's Glow On Gallery was officially opened on July 30th!

Minister for Sustainable Development and the Environment Grace Fu: This action of sustainable living cannot stop, and we call on Tzu Chi to continue to utilise its civic power to spread more of these values and messages to all corners of Singapore.

The content of the Glow On Gallery covers the three aspects of environmental, social and economic sustainability. In addition to diversified and highly interactive information on energy saving and carbon reduction, the gallery is set up in accordance with the principles of low carbon and reusing old materials. The Earth structure at the entrance was assembled from recycled PET bottles.

Senior program director, SPH radio Carine Ang: Sometimes we think of being environmentally friendly as a big deal or a big life change, but just a small gesture would already be helping the environment.

CEO for the National Environment Agency Mr Wong Kang Jet: Tzu Chi has been a very strong advocate of environmental protection and sustainability for many years, you have been a strong partner of NEA, and really look forward to continuing working with Tzu Chi in the years to come.

Tzu Chi is about to enter its 30th year in Singapore, and the drive of Tzu Chi volunteers has been witnessed by organisations and people from all walks of life. To achieve sustainability, environmental protection must start at the source, changing the mindset and attitude towards life.
