In recent activities for Parents Appreciation Day in Tzu Chi Great Love Preschool (Yishun), young children learned to bake cookies, make cards, serve tea, and bathe feet. Besides creating a heart-warming interaction between parents and children, it was to guide children to be grateful and express their love bravely.
“Electrifyingly surprising and powerful” was what Chee Chen Sin felt when his children bathed his feet and massaged him. Elated and touched beyond words, he could only convey his gratitude with a warm hug for his children. Adding on, he mentioned that opportunities like these are hard to come by.
Since the opening of the Seniors Engagement and Enabling Node (SEEN) centres in 2019, they have served as crucial pillars of support for many seniors living in the community, helping to provide joy and care in their lives. Tzu Chi Singapore's Parent-Child Bonding Class had organised their last session for the year 2021 on 28 November.
